All about me!

hello, im Chanie Work. I love to cheer and do gymnastics. Iv'e been doing cheer now for seven years. I started in third grade where i was currently doing competitive at planet cheer in Forney. After Four years there it was time to go into middle school where I tried out at Terry and became a Tiger cheerleader. Two years later high school came and I Became a Jaguar cheerleader which I currently am now. I've been doing gymnastics sense I was three, and was a member at Texas Gymnastics in Mesquite where I also did competitive. Sense middle school started I quit competitive but still stayed involved in gym, which i'm still doing now.
Im very outgoing and tend to speak my mind alot! Iv'e grown up and raised to be Christian, where anything is possible through god. Love is what keeps me going and standing tall. My friends, Family, God,and boyfriend are always there for me through thick or thin. Im also a hero to my brother and sister as they told me, as i went through hard times with three surgeries. I hope i will still be theres, as time goes on.

when i grow up..

"Everything you do, do it with your heart", my dad always use to tell me. He always asked what I was going to do when I get older and who I was going to turn out to be. The truth is I have no clue what I want to be when I get older, too many dreams I would love to fulfill. I know that I do want to go to the University of Texas and try out for cheer, and that's as far as it gets. After that from my point of view now, I would like to work with fashion or be a magazine editor. But I know my decisions are going to change. Untill that time comes where I know what I want to be I will enjoy being a kid and do everything with my heart.

My hero :)

My mom, Tracy Work is my true hero, mentor, rolemodel, and of course my bestfriend. This year has been rough for my whole family. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in October, and devistated our family. As she is going through this process she has still been there for me, my sister, and my brother. She would have sergery one morning and the same day come to wach me cheer at a basketball game. She has taught me so much, to never let anything get in your way or let you stop from doing somthing. One thing she has never let slip through these rough times is my grades. She still expects me to put forth my best effort. I dont make the grades, my weekends will be sitting at home cleaning and helping her with things. I love her very much and look up to her with upmost respect.

She is the reason im still functioning today. <3

Threshold Guardian

I am the person I have become today because of my mom(Tracy) and my sister(Caley).

they are like my back bone, i could'nt live without them. They challenge me to do my best in everything I do. Starting with my grades, my mom is very strict about making bad grades. If I ask her for help with homework she makes me try on my own first then if I don't get it she will help me. Caley challenges me with cheer. She will make me do it over and over till its perfect or they way she likes it.

Shadow

The shadow in my life would be my mental block for tumbling.
Last January I broke both my bones in my arm doing a full, a tumbling pass.
It devistated me, and kept me from finishing my 8th grade year as a Tiger cheerleader.
I ended up having three surgeries which led me having a cast for seven months. Into the third month it was time to try out for cheerleader at Horn my freshman year. I went ahead and decided to try out for cheer with a cast on, i knew it was going to be a chalenge and not very easy but I had confidence. After I made it and got my cast off, I went to gym to get back into tumbling. It was'nt as easy as i thought. I was very scared and kept having flash backs from when i broke my arm. Till this day I still go to tumbling classes but I still hav'nt overcomed my fear.

Trickster

The trickster in my life would be Tiffany Vandiver. She's my cousin and my bestfriend. She has always been there for me sense day one. We are together 24-7, and have the best times together. She is constantly making me laugh with her stupid jokes or sayings. Even with the process with my mom she would always find a way to cheer me up and make my bad days turn into good ones. We will always remain friends and continue to share great memories with each other!

loyal companions

I have alot of loyal companions in my life. I could name a ton, but I dont want to go on forever.
Some of them are Caley, Sydney, Tiffany, Bailey, and Kendell. These girls mean the world to me and have always been there through thick or thin.

Caley, she is my sister, bestfriend, and my rolemodel. I look up to her in every way. We have gone through a lot this year and are always by each others side. Words cannot describe how much I love her. I wish her the best in college, and will miss her very much!

Sydney, We have been bestfriends sense we were one and still are. Some things has changed but were still there for each other. We have shared the greatest memories together, and still more to come. I love her dearly and would do anything for this girl because I know she would do the same.

Tiffany, words cannot describe this girl! She's crazy and wild.

And I would do anything for this girl as well.

There is a ton i cold say but i have already described her.

Bailey, she's the dumb one of the group but I love her to death.

Her lame remarks makes up her personality, which every one loves.

We have been close sense we were about one also.

We have the craziest times together that are priceless!

Kendell, wow where do I start? This girl has never let me down,

and is ALWAYS there for me. She is the true meaning of a bestfriend.

We are inseprable, as our parents say.

We are always together!

These girls have helped me so much through life,

I would have not made it with out them!
